NEW SECTION ON ERIC WEBSITE: FOR PATIENTSWe are glad to announce that ERIC is developing a new section on its website addressed to patients. In this new section they will be able to find educational resources and tools with the aim of helping increase their knowledge and understanding of blood and leukemia.

ERIC IN THE 4TH HARMONY GENERAL ASSEMBLY As in previous years, the ERIC's board will attend the 4th General Assembly of HARMONY for Partners and Associated Members that will take place on the 26th and 27th of September 2019 in Florence, Italy. New projects will be proposed, discussed and launched, of which we will give notice through our newsletter, giving the possibility to each ERIC member to actively participate if interested. ELIXIR SURVEY: IDENTIFYING GAPS IN CURRENT TRAINING Elixir, an ERIC collaborator in the management of our online platform, is an academic organization with the aim, among others, to investigate the current gaps in training for Bioinformatics across the different Life Science domains. The ELIXIR Training Platform surveyed the training needs of its scientific communities in 2013 and 2016, and consequently took measures to fill the gaps identified with appropriate training. In order to identify potential gaps in current training in Life Sciences across Europe, we would like you to participate in this survey as well. The survey should take no more than 5-10 minutes of your time to complete. We value your contribution and look forward to sharing the outcomes with you.
